A Happy & Healthy Dawson Coming Soon!!!

We fly out to Houston this Tuesday at 7a.m to go to Texas Children's Hospital. Hopefully this GI Motility Specialist can solve all Dawson's tummy problems and get him back on track. Dawson will be admitted to the hospital Tuesday morning. We are set to get discharged some time Friday. They are running 4 tests, and 2 of them require Dawson to be put to sleep at 2 different times... (which makes us super nervous). Please pray for Dawson and for God to give us strength for what is ahead. I know God has his hand in all of this and will take good care of him. Also, we want to say thanks for all the cards, thoughts, and prayers over the last few months!!

Sneaky....Silly.. Dawson!! :)

NiNi came back from New York with tons of goodies. She spoils Dawson way too much. :) We love them bunches!

We made a trip to Searcy to visit my dad for his birthday. It was a wonderful visit and Dawson crawled all over his Poppy!

Thanks For The Prayers! :)

As most of you know Dawson has continued to fight severe belly issues. We have prayed for so long to find out what exactly is wrong. We have faith that God will have that answer and a cure soon. Dawson has been on a prescription formula for a month and we have not had the best results. His GI doctor was hopeful it would solve everything. But, he is still not thriving and all his problems have started to come back. He has dropped down to the 2 percentile in weight for his age. He recently had a test for Cystic Fibrosis and his test came back negative. ((Praise GOD!!)) Now we are waiting to hear word on when they are sending us to Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston to a Motility Specialist. This hospital is the closest one that has motility specialists and ranks in the top 4 in the US for GI disorders. These doctors are experts in how the whole GI tract forms and works. Please continue to pray for Dawson. Right now there is nothing they can give or do for him until we go to Houston. He has his good days and he has his bad days. I believe they will relieve his pain where he can feel like a normal baby and actually eat baby food again. We are so blessed that although he isn’t growing it hasn’t stopped him from developing mentally. He is so smart and active and is hitting every milestone. He also started crawling this week on his elbows and knees. It’s so cute to watch! Thanks again for all your cards, emails, and prayers! May God Bless you!!

Happy Father's Day!

We had a great time at a family cookout at my sisters. My dad got lots of loving from the grandkids...let me tell you it was nuts. lol! Nick enjoyed spending every moment with Dawson. Those two boys together are such a handful..but so much fun. I seriously believe I am in for it in a couple of years. On the other hand...Dawson could not ask for a better daddy!! We love you! I haven't had a complete family get together with my fam since Christmas. There is only 9 of us since everyone has passed away but we love each other dearly and it was so great to spend the afternoon together.

The Best Texans!

Aunt Star and Justin came for a visit. We love them bunches. It was such a short visit...but it was wonderful. We miss you bunches!!

Swimming Into Summer!

Dawson's first swim. He absolutely loved the water.

His Aunt Shasta has been begging to get him in her pool. I don't know who was having the most fun.

I'm loving this!

Do we really have to go?

Two of a kind! We are in so much trouble when they get older.

Finally a nice Saturday! We decided to go to Little Rock and look around. We stopped by the Old Mill for some pics. It ended up being not the best idea but we did get a few pics. Dawson wasn't feeling good. Projectile Vomiting 6 times in one hour + 90 degrees outside just equals...Gross and time to go home!!! lol. We have faith his belly will feel better soon. :)

After we let him take his hat off for good. :)

I'm so tired of hats!!..... Dawson has lots of hats but he doesn't like anything on his head! If he doesn't realize it he's cool...but when he does it's on.

He loved watching the ducks.

We finally got a chance to go eat with Peyton & Ashley. We love them bunches. It was so nice to catch up. (So sorry Peyton for the throw up on your brand new Sperry's... :)

Dawson the wiggle worm. Forget pictures he says.

After church his Aunt Kel grabbed a few kisses before we headed back to Cabot.
